Lead HR- Statutory and Compliance (Leading Manufacturing Client)
- We are looking to hire Lead HR - Statutory and Compliance to join our team in Mumbai.
- This role is focused heavily on taking the HR team to the next level in the employee life cycle for India.
Responsibilities:
- End to end responsibility for company & compliance in all locations within India as per regulations
- Responsible for compliance under POSH Act;
- Periodical review of the applicability of various Labour and Employment Laws/rules and frame policy/ guidelines to comply
- Manage timely remittance of ESI, PF, LWF or any other statutory dues.
- Partner closely with consultants and internal and external stakeholders in the timely management of these compliances.
- Support and ensure compliances relating to National Pension Scheme
- Lead for Compliance Audit conducted by internal and external Auditors and to ensure closure of observations
- Lead the closure of findings in the event of inspections by various Statutory Authorities
- Manage and maintain records for Challans, Returns, Registers, Display of Notices, License and Registration on a regular basis
- Manage all compliances as per guidelines of the Contract Labor Act and maintain as appropriate
- Submit Annual/Half- Yearly/ Quarterly Returns under various Laws across India
- Manage all employee-related records - both digital & physical
- Lead all statutory related vendor management efforts
- Support in handling all Statutory related queries
Additional Information:
- An ideal candidate would be an HR professional with 8+ years of experience & strong exposure to Statutory compliances and Labour Laws
- Attention to details, an enthusiastic team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Needs to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards
