Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced HR Lead to join the team of one of our FMCG Startup client based at Bangalore
He/She will play a pivotal role in driving organizational effectiveness through strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of performance management, legal compliance, administration, and talent acquisition processes. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Performance Management :
- Develop and implement performance management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluation processes.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Conduct training sessions on performance management best practices.
Legal Compliance :
- Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Advise management on legal implications of HR decisions and actions.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as necessary to address complex HR issues.
Administration :
- Manage HR administration processes such as payroll, benefits, and employee records.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data systems.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies and procedures.
Talent Acquisition :
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
- Collaborate with external partners such as recruitment agencies and job boards as necessary.
Employee Relations :
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on employee relations matters.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to promote a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct as required.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and termination processes.
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in HR functions.
- In-depth knowledge of performance management principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
