Job Purpose :
- Ensure that policies & processes at the organization are up to industry standards and conform to the overall compensation and benefits strategy of company
- Periodically review policies and ensure they are updated and current, in line with the strategic outlook for the organization
- Coordinate with HR and other functions to understand dynamic policy needs
Strategic Activities :
- Conduct and lead high quality qualitative and quantitative research for policy and processes for personnel
- Create and manage company policies, including but not limited to those regarding workplace safety, employee conduct, hiring practices, leaves, passage, etc.
- Develop new policies as needed based on new laws and/or industry trends in line with organizational and functional strategy
- Benchmark policies existing at various competitor organizations as well as other relevant policies in the industry
- Create robust policies and processes that acts as a guideline on international relocation, tax, immigration, compensation, and benefits
Policies & Processes :
- Enable and support high quality policy development with an oversight of evidence-based policies and processes prevalent in the industry
- Serve as a liaison between management and employees on issues related to company policies and procedures
- Validate and coordinate changes to policies and processes as and when required
- Be the custodian of all policies and processes & act the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for senior leadership in all performance, rewards, benefits and international mobility related policies and processes
- Monitor implementation of new and existing policies, ensure that the policies are compliant with local/international laws and regulations
- Ensure renewal and negotiations of third-party vendor contacts entered in the PMS and Rewards system
Team Management :
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR policies and procedures are aligned with the needs of the business
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HR policies and procedures
- Support, nurture and develop the team members' skills in all performance and total rewards aspects
