Role: Lead - Growth and Emerging Technologies
Direct Reporting: Head - Growth and Emerging Technologies
Role Purpose:
- Assist in driving strategic initiatives that harness growth opportunities through partnerships and technology advancements. Support in identifying, evaluating, and executing joint ventures, scouting new technologies, and fostering industry partnerships to position the organization at the forefront of innovation.
Strategic Partnership & Alliances:
- Identify potential joint venture opportunities that align with the organization's strategic objectives
- Assist in the development of business cases and financial models to evaluate the viability and potential impact of JV initiatives
- Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships with external entities, fostering mutual growth and value creation
Technology Scouting and Assessment:
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovations; identify opportunities to leverage technology advancements, to drive innovation and improve operational processes
- Conduct regular assessments of the competitive landscape to understand market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor strategies; utilize this information to formulate effective competitive positioning and differentiation strategies
- Scout for external technologies, startups, and research collaborations that could enhance the organization's offerings and competitive edge
- Evaluate potential technologies through technical and commercial assessments, presenting recommendations to senior leadership
Business/Industry Partnerships:
- Assist the Head- Growth and Emerging Technologies to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, academia, and help identify opportunities for collaborative ventures, knowledge-sharing, and co-innovation with external partners
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase capabilities and establish thought leadership
- Leverage partnerships to enhance the organization's reputation and drive strategic growth initiatives Section Three: Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies
Education Qualifications/Skills:
- University degree in the field of Business, economics, management
- Master's degree

Relevant Experience:
- Total years of Experience - 5-10 Years
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy, technology adoption joint ventures, strategic alliances, or partnerships
