Lead - Financial & Strategy Planning - Financial Services Group

- Responsible for bringing in outside-in perspective to the business, scanning the local and global environment for lead indicators and challenging underlying business assumptions. Sector Lead assists the Corporate Board in the performance management of businesses, primarily from a financial standpoint.

- Drive periodic reviews on annual business plan, long term business growth strategy, quarterly peer review, monthly/quarterly/annual financial performance of the business units under the respective sector

- Critical evaluation and review of investment proposals including Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions or other major capital expenditure proposals on behalf of the Executive Management Committee Board(EMCB)

- Expected to convert information to expert insights while reviewing performance of businesses in the sector

- Provide impact assessment of recent local and global trends on the business plan and financial performance of businesses

- Conduct special reviews on projects upon request from the Corporate Head

- Undertake plant visits, market and customer research, peer analysis as required and share insights with the EMCB

- Liaise with CEOs and Finance heads of businesses and serve as a point of contact

- Prepare major presentations for senior management upon request

- Establish a system for gathering timely market and sector information internally and through research firms, consultants and industry experts
