Lead - Financial Analyst - IT

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Financial Analyst for Asia Pacific located in Gurgaon. You will be part of a team that is driving rapid customer growth in Asia Pacific. We need you to analyze business and marketing programs for India, Australia and future regions to lead to higher adoption of our Saas (software as a service) offerings. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager, Asia Pacific.

- Analyze marketing programs and interpret data for the purpose of determining past performance or to project future probability

- Create management reports, models, and database queries to support business analysis, including revenue/expense/usage impact and risk mitigation

- Develop an understanding of key business drivers that can then be modeled to better forecast the range of possible business outcomes

- Collaborate across functions to develop data driven hypothesis to answer questions and produce analysis through a variety of methodologies

- Work with Senior Manager and the business to produce needed analysis and ongoing reporting (e.g. monthly/weekly reporting packages, forecasting, trending, ad hoc analysis, KPI’s)

- Understands & can effectively communicate BU/FG strategy.

- Participation on cross-functional project teams

- Partners directly with BU/FG/Finance leaders. Collaborative with required influencing

- Participates on project teams within finance function

- Addresses problems with moderate level of complexity (e.g. unit forecasting).

Qualifications -

- Degree level with 5-7 years of relevant experience

- Accurate sales forecasts with risk/opportunity assessment

- Analytics that are presented in a thoughtful and simple manner that aligns to key drivers of the analysis

- Experience and good understanding of SaaS business

- Experience of operating in or with small business in Asia Pacific. Specifically, India or Australia.

- Responses to direction from direct management. Thought leadership still expected on core area of focus that results in some meaningful improvement.

- Current systems / tools maintenance / technical systems and report writing.
