Lead - Finance & Investor Relations

We are looking for a Finance professional with leadership skills :

a) Ability to present the company goals to investor community from across the globe,

b) Make compelling presentation pitch decks for fundraising,

c) Present the company's finance/accounting logic/methodology to Government authorities,

d) Excellent knowledge and practical experience on Indian and global compliance rules and accounting practices.

- She/he must be able to: Articulate the strategy/logic behind fund utilisation to investors to maintain their confidence. Be aware of the numerous incentive/promotion schemes that we can explore as a media tech start up(factors like employment generation, local investment that get tax rebates/holiday, special economic status, availability of subsidy and other incentives.)

- Overall experience of 7-10 Years, out of which 2- 3 years of exposure to the startup ecosystem can be ideal.

The responsibilities include:

- Monitoring of end-to-end accounting functions and monthly closure of books of accounts.

- Preparation of monthly MIS and Financial Reports for parent and group level reporting.

- Monthly GL - Module reconciliations and review of allocation between cost/revenue centers.

- Periodic discussions with team members related to performance improvements/ escalations/ alerts.

- Monthly and quarterly inputs related to statutory changes

- Review of weekly cash budgets/forecasts - Cash flow statement updates

- Assistance in hedging the overseas payables to minimize the currency exposure risk.

- Liaising with the bank team towards drawdown, repayment, rollover of Short-Term loans.

- Monitoring the funds flow to manage the day-to-day working capital.

- Review of overall banking operations and monitoring of banking facilities.

- Preparation and reviewing of necessary periodical reconciliations/ disclosures.

- Meeting the relevant statutory compliances & payments under Income Tax, GST, TP etc.

- Preparation of Financials and assistance in completion of statutory audit.

- Meeting the year end compliances like filing of Income Tax Return, GST Audits etc.

- Coordination and liaising between Indian and overseas AP, AR, GL, and treasury teams.

- Preparation and periodic review of SOPs for AP, AR, and Internal Control processes.

- Reporting & Monitoring

- In-depth knowledge of financial and legal regulations & compliances Indian and International (RBI Guidelines)

- Proven track record of managing compliance functions

- Support the internal risk assessments, identify areas of potential technical and process vulnerability, and recommend compensating controls

- Interact with Internal/External Audit and IT teams to ensure on-going Compliance with company IT security policies and standards.

- Maintain a management dashboard and produce a periodic compliance report for executive management
