Lead - Environment Health Safety & Sustainability

- Develop EH&S strategy in line with Corporate EH&S initiatives, and drive its implementation through setting of goals, defining objectives and targets, develop effective action plans

- Establishing 100% legal compliance, tracking of relevant legislations, update changes in legislation, assess their impact on business, develop actions plans and ensure its time bound implementation

- Provide facilitation and tracking progress of EH&S programme implementation across all sites .Providing technical guidance and support on EH&S issues, sharing of knowledge, best practices and lesson learn with relevant production teams and other stakeholders

- Continuously identify and define EH&S training needs in the business - hereunder develop training calendar and conduct training session

- Coordinating with Corporate Risk & Compliance team to conduct EH&S Audits of sites to ensure compliance of all relevant global standards Local legal requirements, work closely with all relevant stake holders develop Corrective Action Plans and time bound closer of the audit observations

- To review evaluate & monitor EHS risks for routine plant operations, projects plans/technology transfer/new chemical /new product /new machine & equipment, and other change controls to verify that EHS issues/requirements are well addressed, prior to their purchase/uses to ensuring continual improvement of the EHS program to make it better and safer &more efficient by applying recent techniques (HAZOP, ALARP JSA, HIRA, AIA etc.) in manufacturing process & new projects.

- Upfront Environmental Engineering - for new site and expansion projects - Responsible for Environment Due Diligence, Monitoring & Coordination for Remediation Projects

- Planning of annual EH&S Budgets and monthly monitoring of budget expenses of all sites of the company

- Establish communication link with government & local community organizations, liaison with pollution control boards, industrial health & safety departments and Ministry of Environment & Forests in State & Central Government as required
