AD / Senior SDET (Senior Manager Equivalent) -

Industry Experience - 12-15 years

Relevant Experience (Automation) - 8 years

Primary Skills (Mix and Match) -

- Knowledge of Java and/or C# and/or .NET or other programming languages.

- Experience of working "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.

- SDET should have knowledge about various test method & corresponding tools like MS Test, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Postman, SoapUI, REST-assured etc.

- SDET should have knowledge of automation of non-functional testing tool such as Jmeter, Gatling, Burp suite, Zed attack proxy, Pa11y etc.

- SDET should have exposure to Behaviour Driven Development.

- Able to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools.

- Understanding of Object-Oriented Design

Position Description -

As an SDET at company, you will be a part of hyper growth organization working with top fortune 50 companies customers ensuring quality of customized, modern and scalable solution and applications.

Responsibilities

You will work directly with the customer, vertical & sub practice heads and multiple engineering teams to build robust and unified technical vision and toolset. You will also work with company's sales and customer success team to help and support the initial phase of project pitch. You will build engineering research groups and facilitate work in them to collaboratively design solutions to those challenges.

Practical Responsibilities

- Build and lead development teams of Test Engineers and Senior Test Engineer to define and decide testing technology platforms and tools, defining development standards & processes

- Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.

- Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.

- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, API and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.

- Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.

- Handling technical communications and understanding the customers' systems.

- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.

- Noting all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports.

- Analyzing and disintegrating software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design.

- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.

- Managing the final quality on production release.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with multiple engineering teams.

- Experience in facilitating even the most heated discussions, ability to resolve them and take responsibility for the decisions.

- Track record of delivering successful solutions as a leader.

- 5+ years of automation testing experience - preference is given to candidates who have tested large scale applications.

- Clear understanding of software design patterns and principles.
