Lead Data Scientist - Machine Learning - Software Solutions Firm

- Performing hands-on data analysis and modeling with huge data sets to devise innovative solutions

- Ideation and developing algorithms to add features to improve and personalise models for better performance and applicability, or fine tune existing models for new use with powerful features

- Running regular A/B tests and perform statistical analysis, draw conclusions on the impact of your research based optimizations to provide though leadership to peers and subordinates alike

Profile

As an ideal candidate you need to have:

- A total of 10-16 years of industry experience with at least 5 years of experience in building Machine Learning models and products, and 2 years Deep Learning exposure ideally for a product/industrial company

- M.Sc./M.Tech or PhD in statistics, mathematics, econometrics, computer science, physics or related field

- A background or profile in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, quantitative methods, predictive modelling, statistics or similar

- Excellent track record of delivery using languages like Python, R, Tensorflow will be an added advantage

- Fluent in SQL enough to get the data you need from a warehouse (Vertica, Hive, SparkSQL, etc.)

- Good Familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices; played the role of scrum master, a good team player, balanced with the autonomy and motivation to produce individually

- Ability to effectively communicate data science results and analytics value to business stakeholders
