Role: Lead Consumer Analytics
Key responsibilities:
- Designing, developing & executing the required analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods to develop analytics solutions to address and then solve business problems
- Structuring large quantities of data, doing analysis and extracting meaning from data to help improve decision making
- Designing experiments, testing hypothesis and building actionable and scalable models
- Helping decision makers and leadership to take data-backed decisions
- Working closely with internal teams and various stakeholders in the deployment of the developed solution to optimize the business operations seamlessly
- Employ statistical techniques to drive innovation in the system
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques in data science
- Mentor junior members of the team in data science techniques
Key projects you'll undertake:
Predicting churn, understanding subscriber preferences, marketing optimization, contextual marketing

Must haves/mandatorily needed
- Worked in B2C organizations with large scale customer base
- Hands on in predictive & prescriptive model building
- Have lead multiple projects and a team of 4-6 people
- Strong ownership and can-do attitude
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of R, Python
Good to have :
- Experience in Telecom or E-commerce industry
- Masters in Statistics / Mathematics / Econometrics from top tier institution (ISI, IIT, IISC, CMI etc)
- Knowledge of spark cluster or distributed computing will be good to have
- Problem statement level understanding
- Worked with 2-3 companies or diverse industries with different cultures
- Worked in large b2b companies
