Urgent requirement for Lead - Data Quality for one of the Reputed Company,
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads the design and implementation of the data quality operational processes and tools, including: full SDLC support for the tool implementation; managing the organizational rollout; and performing ongoing operational management.
- Develops and implements a strong, collaborative data quality rule development process to enable the quantitative evaluation of the data environment (900+ systems), leveraging industry standards, business norms and best practices.
- Manages the Enterprise's Data Quality Rule library, providing transparency to business partners and accessibility to technology partners.
- Designs and distributes metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.
- Analyzes DQ rule breaches and reports, providing relevant and useful insights to help proactively prevent recurrences.
- Supports BAU demand for data discovery / data profiling, in addition to supporting prioritized projects.
- Acts as a liaison between Data Providers and Data Consumers to ensure DQ rules, reporting and metrics are relevant and actionable
- Ensures ongoing coordination with the DQ Issue Management process and other operating norms.
- Contributes to the development and revision of relevant policies, frameworks and processes.
- Consistently communicates progress to the Enterprise and manages expectations.
- Ensures best practices and knowledge are shared across the Enterprise.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Matrix responsibility for parties in Information Technology, the Lines of Business and Functional areas (Finance, Operations, etc.) impacted by and participating in the data quality operational processes.
- Direct supervision of Analysts.
- Responsible for providing Analysts timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing Analysts to their fullest potential, providing challenging opportunities that enhance career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure dequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding Analysts and Stakeholders for accomplishments.
Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years public accounting, consulting, technology or Financial Services experience.
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
- Proven large scale, cross-functional program and project management, prioritization, and coordination skills, ideally in the banking industry or data management discipline.
- Strong regulatory reporting background preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills and the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem solving techniques and ability to reach decision under conditions of uncertainty or time constraints.
- Ability to develop solid business requirements / case and technical specifications for system implementation.
- Decisive manager.

- Team Player; approachable; collaborative and flexible.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with banking operations, operating systems and processes.
- Excellent PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Advanced proficiency with Database queries strongly preferred.
