Lead - Data Privacy & Protection Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Experience in process consulting related to data privacy or being a part of data privacy programs and related implementations.

- Own and keep under constant review all the firm's data protection compliance arrangements to include updating policies and guidance, centralising processes and putting in place robust, time-bound remedial plans where necessary.

- Partner with all key business areas, such as the Infosec, Legal team, ERM, Business Analysis, Product Owners and development teams etc., to ensure data privacy issues are considered at the outset of new projects, products, and initiatives.

- Monitor the industry landscape to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices related to Data Privacy with a desire to broaden knowledge on key pieces of Indian privacy legislations.

- Expertise in global data privacy laws including GDPR/CCPA/CPRA and related practices such as DPIAs, TIAs, RoPA etc.

- Should have experience implementing and/or managing a data privacy platform such as OneTrust, BigID, etc.

- Demonstrated expertise in establishing and/or managing DSAR (Data Subject Access Requests) mechanism across an organization.

- Capable of conducting data privacy compliance reviews and audits

- Experience in reviewing data processing agreements.

- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and online research tools.

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Passion to improve processes for service delivery teams by embedding privacy best practices.
