Lead Data Modeler

Job Description:

A challenging opportunity for a Lead Data Modeler for our client which is a start-up into BigData and Analytics. Responsible for designing and implementing predictive / analytical modeling, data mining, and research on complex data sets using statistical, machine learning and text mining techniques

Skills & Experience:

- About 10-12 years of experience with excellent knowledge of data mining / predictive modeling tools such as R, SAS, SPSS, etc

- Experience in Building Data and Statistical models and analyzing results for a variety of mathematical and statistical algorithms

Work with business domain experts and application developers to identify data relevant for analysis

- Create data definitions for new database file/table development and/or changes to existing ones as needed for analysis

- Contribute to predictive / analytical modeling architectures, modeling standards, reporting and data analysis methodologies

- Identify, diagnose and resolve predictive / analytical model performance issues

- Experience of working with large Datasets

- Good team management and customer management skills
