Lead - Data Management - IT

Position: Data Management Lead

Team Size: 6-10 team

Reporting to Head - Data Analytics

- We are looking for a strong Data Management Lead who can manage data warehouse related projects. He will be responsible for successful delivery of projects as per agreed scope and managing data warehouse at enterprise level and its integration with applications

- He will manage team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and should oversee daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.

- Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements. He should coordinate with down the stream ERP and application teams to fetch the data for data integration for various subject areas.

- He should ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence. Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.

- Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns. Analyze requirements, set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.

- Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.

- Develop scope and budget for delivery projects

- Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentation.

Responsibilities:

- Successful delivery of data warehouse based analytical solution projects and managing daily operations, schedule

- Defining strategy for Job monitoring, exception handling, and data validations

- Planning and executing required sites integrations for various data warehouse subject areas for completion like sales, purchase, finance, inventories, and manufacturing

- Managing customer reported issues and feedback and getting them fixed based on priorities

- Managing team skills and expectations

- Notification and escalation

Qualification:

- Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in computer science with 8-10 years of experience.

- Should have 5+ years of experience in managing data warehouse Delivery and operations including data exception management (Job monitoring automation, exception handling, and data validations)

- Should have good data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience with SQL 2014 and SQL 2016.

- Excellent analytical and team leadership skills Background in database theory and practice combined with hands-on experience in data warehousing technology

- Hands on experience in SQL (Writing Stored procedures, Functions) and basic knowledge of query optimization concept

- Good Skill in SSIS(Should to have at list one year of exp. in SSIS Project development)

- Domain Knowledge in manufacturing will be an added advantage

- Hands-on exposure to ETL while working with enterprise applications/systems- Ability to build /integrate enterprise-level data integration and transformation solution.- Knowledge of big data technologies (Map Reduce, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Impala, Hadoop, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, HBase) will be added advantage

- B.tech / MCA

- 8+ years of experience in managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
