About the job:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of data business analysts, setting clear objectives and priorities.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to support the professional growth of team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Business Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data-related needs and challenges.
- Translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting projects.
Production Support:
- Manage ETL processes, ensuring they run efficiently and according to schedule.
- Should be self-sufficient to Investigate and resolve production issues, including data load failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality problems if needed.
Data Gathering And Transformation:
- Identify and access relevant data sources, including databases, data warehouses, and external data providers.
- Develop data transformation processes to prepare data for analysis.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices within the team.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business units to ensure that data analysis projects support their decision making needs.
- Effectively communicate insights and findings to non-technical teams.
- Work with business and IT teams to prioritize and address data-related issues.
- Communicate with business users, data analysts, and data scientists to understand their data requirements and respond to their support needs.
Project Management:
- Manage and prioritize data analysis projects, ensuring they are delivered within established timelines.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
Documentation And Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis processes, methodologies, and results.
- Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as business, data analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, story point framing data analysis, business analysis, or related roles.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
Optional Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in business analysis, data analysis, or related fields.
- Experience with data governance and data quality assurance.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Note: Consultant will work with the global team and may have to align the work timing as per business need.
