Summary:  Has primary responsibility for all compliance functions for Great West Global. Acts as in-house counsel with the responsibility for handling a wide range of legal matters for Great West Global. Directly interacts with local and global Operations, Technology and Shared Services leaders, managing their compliance responsibilities and legal needs. Will report to Head of Great West Global.  Primary Accountabilities:  - Primarily responsible for assuring Great West Global meets its compliance responsibilities in all areas, including anti-bribery, Special Economic Zone, vendor contracting, procurement and labor law compliance.  - Acts as the primary company contact for government regulators on compliance matters.  - Responsible for designing, monitoring, testing, and reporting on Great West Global's compliance activities, including policy creation, implementation and oversight.  - Coordinates on compliance matters with Great West Global's affiliates in North America and Europe   - Provides in-house legal advice and assistance on a wide variety of legal matters, including corporate, human resources/labor, procurement, contracting, finance and litigation matters.   - In coordination with Great West Global's affiliates in North America and Europe, acts as a key contributor to Great West Global's Enterprise Risk Management initiatives.   - Monitors relevant legal and regulatory developments and proposes changes to company policies, practices and procedures.   Minimum Qualifications:  - Properly licensed and admitted attorney with broad and diverse experience.  - Ten (10) years of progressive counsel and compliance experience, preferably with a global company.  - Strong working knowledge of the U.S. financial services and insurance industries.  - Demonstrated experience designing and/or implementing key compliance functions.  - Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.  Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:  - Normal office working conditions  - Shifts/required availability will be determined and scheduled based on business need as part of a global team providing 24x7 support to its customers  The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
