Corporate Strategy Lead (Sales & Distribution) BFSI

We are currently retained by a well-established insurance company to hire a corporate strategy Leader with strong exposure to sales and distribution strategy.

- You must have experience preferably with the insurance industry in making and implementing corporate strategies in Sales, Agency and Distribution side. Candidates with allied experience in BFSI on Sales and distribution may also work.

- This person will play a key role in leading the identification of strategic issues & development & incubation of opportunities, particularly in Sales & Distribution, which could influence business growth and profitability.

- These would include competitor benchmarking, marketing program effectives, industry intelligence, consumer knowledge, and development of strategic initiatives.

- This will work with Senior Stakeholder on launching high priority strategic initiatives, working with the business's leadership, executives, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities :

- Building strategic initiatives through the development of work plans, incubate new capabilities, find product market fit and scale opportunities.

- Analyse strategic rationale by performing regular financial, competitive, performance, and market analyses for the business

- Prepare regular management updates to the shareholders and external stakeholders.

- Draft regular industry and business analysis reports for senior management, business leadership and executives, and relevant stakeholders

- Oversee and coach the team

Required Skills & Attributes :

- Efficient experience on sales and distribution strategy making and implementation in Insurance industry

- 10-12 years of PQE in Consulting/Strategy/Channel Program Management/Channel Initiatives in BFSI

- Strong understanding of distribution channels (at least one of Agency/Banca/CABr)

- Strong expertise of running channel P&L.

- Ability to structure projects and be responsible for on time delivery.

- Strong industry network.

- Growth mindset with willingness to continuously learn more.

- Excellent communication and team management skills.

- Well organized and self-directed.
