Lead Consultant - SAP Services - Manufacturing

Roles & Responsibilities

- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP, QM and can act as a lead Consultant for SAP.

- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identity, interpret, validate and document business requirements

- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements

- Map business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy business needs.

- Design, customize, configure and testing of PP, QM

- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

- Act as liaison with a business team for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.

- Document functional designs, test cases and results.

- Proactively identify and propose a business process and/or system enhancements

- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.

- Provide training and user support as required

Desired Skills & Experience

- Good knowledge in production planning master data, demand management, MRP, production orders as well as PP integration with other modules such as MM, SD, and FICO.

- Good knowledge of WRICEF objects and functional specification preparations especially for interfaces.

- Good knowledge about the business process of a discrete manufacturing industry

- Good experience in interacting with the business team on a day-to-day basis for gathering requirements

- Having the experience of working in both independent and team environments

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skill.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementation as well as in support projects in designing and configuring PP, MM, QM modules

- Knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time

- Must be results-oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude - adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

Qualification

Education: B. Tech/B.E. or equivalent

Relevant SAP Certification would be an added advantage.
