Job Description
As a Consultant - Sales and Business Development, you'll play a pivotal role in leading client relationships, driving strategy and managing a client execution team. You'll also have opportunities to help shape the methodologies we leverage with clients. In a nutshell, think of yourself as a head of sales for a handful of innovative tech companies; It's your role to help build their sales engines.
You'll get to work across a diverse array of companies so you'll constantly be learning. Based on your experience and interests, as well as business needs - engage in a variety of activities.
Developing strategies for:
- Go-to-market
- Building a lead generation engine
- Developing content to support the sales and buying processes
- Hiring and structuring sales teams
- Structuring compensation
Variety of topics including:
- Client segmentation
- Lead qualification
- Scalable lead generation
- Creating urgency
- Email outreach strategies
- Client discovery
- Objection handling
- Sales narrative development
- Developing an ROI Case
- Converting pilots to annual licenses
- The latest email tools and best practices
- The fundamentals of contract negotiation
- The basics of sales compensation
- Sales tools
- Team management
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years in B2B enterprise technology experience (ideally withHR SaaS Product). Clients turn to us as authorities, so we- re looking for individuals that bring perspectives backed by professional experience. Some or all of this experience must have been at a high growth startup
- Experience navigating and managing complex buying processes
- A passion for early stage B2B companies and a thirst for growing businesses
- Consistent experience exceeding sales quotas
- Unflinching hustle
- Degree from a Premier B Schools
Preferred
- Experience in consulting (in addition to sales)
- An MBA or relevant graduate degree
- Experience working in organizations known for HR Products
