- Company secretary is responsible to Advise the Company regarding Secretarial Matters, compliances and handling matters related to the Board committees, Audit committees and General Meeting.

- The role incumbent would also be responsible in ensuring accurate, timely and complete compliance and documentation relating to all the corporate law matters of the group, Drafting of various policies under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations and RBI Regulations i.e. Whistle Blower, Archival of Documentations, Risk Assessment & Minimisation, Nomination and Remuneration policy, Dividend Distribution policy, Insider Regulations etc.

- Ensuring compliance to Companies Act, SEBI & stock exchange listing & other norms, providing company law related opinions to the top Management team would also fall under the purview of this role.

- The Incumbent shall also be responsible for monitoring all the Compliances at the company level and their reporting to the Board.

- Governance, Compliance and internal control by reviewing all corporate governance arrangements or developments which might impact the business and ensuring that the Board is fully briefed on these matters and considers them when taking decisions

- Ensure compliance to Companies Act, SEBI, stock exchange listing, RBI compliances & other norms by understanding the requirements of RI, Companies Act, SEBI & stock exchange regulations and the changes on a periodic basis and ensuring compliance

- Provide Legal Advice to the board of directors by giving their perspective on the company rights during the court of law matters, employment laws, commercial/contract laws or corporate developments.

- Monitor the budgeting for the business by delivering financial planning actions at key stages of the Annual Business planning cycle related to the department/Division.

- Maintains a healthy relationship between investors, board of directors and other authorities by ensuring a continuous communication between all the stakeholders and ensuring all the regulatory compliances associated with each of the stakeholders are being adhered to.

- Maintain the company records and other statutory registers to ensure compliances with Companies Act, RBI , NBFC and SEBI Compliances.

- Overseeing the arrangements of the company board meetings by planning and ensuring production of agendas, reports and the subsequent minutes for meetings of the Board, Committees and Members.

- People Management by training, motivating and directing team to optimize workplace productivity, promoting professional growth, identifying critical positions and making succession plans
