Job Role - Channel Lead for Merchant Acquiring Business

- Channels would include the internal distribution and business divisions of the bank cutting across retail branch banking, assets, corporate banking etc.

- Responsible for achieving merchant acquiring business targets (value and volume) of the assigned channel for the year.

- Ensuring cross sell penetration of the customer base under each channel/business/division assigned.

- Working with the respective Business and Channel heads to devise cross sell strategy based on the dynamics of the respective business.

- Getting collateral and pitch prepared for the respective segment, ensuring training and engagement with the channel for clear understanding of product proposition.

- Review and monitor the progress against assigned budgets, schedule reviews with the leadership team and getting required dashboards in place.

- Create campaigns and drives for business growth - both cross sell to base and using merchant acquiring proposition for new client acquisition.

- Ensure engagement of the on ground merchant acquiring product sales team with the channel in their respective areas.

- Work with respective product segments of lending and liability products for creating new bundled proposition for the specific channel and their customers.

- Work with analytics team for sharp insights on the customer base, delivery of those insights and data for action to both the channel and the product sales teams on ground.
