Job title: Lead, Category Sales
Reports to: Head, Sales Strategy
Division/Department: Sales Work Location: Gurgaon, Haryana
PURPOSE: Develop, execute and deliver company's category wise strategy to drive sales
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Lead the sales strategy and operations for the assigned category portfolio
- Lead review and management of consolidated category-wise demand plans (Annual,Quarterly and Monthly)
- Lead the RTM execution strategy and ensure the success of the category executed over the next 3 years while collaborating with global and India sales strategy teams
- Monitor competitor activities in the channel / category providing insights to Marketing, Finance, Quality, Pricing etc
Category-wise D&A
- Accountable for category-wise D&A management
- Responsible for trade schemes design, deployment and tracking across channels
Category-wise PMR
- Responsible for P4P analysis and overall sales performance monitoring across channels (e.g. product gaps)
- Supervise the annual spends for in-market promotions, check-outs, visibility
- Develop point-of-sale materials to gain shopper attention and support ROI goals for all regions
- Drive % Growth in target billing points for Category
Channel Management
- Launch innovative projects aimed at driving channel sales efficiency
- Execute All India channel programs
- Identify the key channels for the product range, determine the appropriate SKU- s, and deliver distribution, assortment and visibility objectives across multiple markets and channels
