Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive people management strategies that promote an environment where all employees feel valued and respected and ensure that all implemented strategies align with the overall business priorities and goals.
- Maintain a good perspective of the business teams, placing emphasis on employee relations, policies, and people management procedures in application across the business.
- Partner with the leadership in deliberating and establishing short- and long-term departmental strategies. Provide insight and suggestions to Talent & Culture functional teams for continuous improvement (Including Hiring).
- Serve as a coach and consultant to the business managers & leaders on key organizational and management matters and overall leadership development.
- Ensure the HR Business Partners are equipped with the right skills, tools, and competencies necessary for executing their duties.
- Coach and mentor HR Business Partners on HR policies and processes, performance management practices, understanding labour laws & culture, ensuring constant professional growth, and ingraining the departmental culture.
- Leverage workforce insights and analytics to draw strategic reports and recommendations from the findings meant for senior HR management, departmental heads and management, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Conduct ongoing research and data analytics that identify talent gaps, assess organizational performance, and propose solutions that support the business and promote ongoing talent, development plans, and succession.
- Motivate, engage, and positively manage the Business Partner team - be there for them.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioural science (OD, HR Management, and Psychology) or MBA with relevant HR certification preferred.
- 10-15 years experience in a similar role, out of which at least 5-7 years in leading Business Partner or any other HR functional group. Experience across multiple HR domains in BFSI sector (Capital Market) would be preferred.
- Good understanding of technical HR skills, knowledge, and expertise, including legal knowledge and the latest talent trends and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to move a group with a unified vision and common objective and in a common direction.
- Ability to leverage HR metrics, and draw insights from plain data and information, which will enable informed decision-making, management strategy formulation, and policy formulation.
- Proven and successful ability to build, lead, and integrate effective and lasting people management programs within a business.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, planning, and listening skills.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and complexity to provide simple, expedient, and practical solutions.
