Lead - Business Finance - SaaS - CA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Finance Manager with a Chartered Accountant (CA) degree to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within our SaaS organization. Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with company objectives.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into key drivers impacting financial performance.

- Work closely with department heads to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

2. Strategic Financial Management:

- Partner with senior management to formulate strategic initiatives and support decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.

- Assess the financial implications of new business ventures, product launches, and expansion strategies.

- Provide guidance on capital allocation, investment decisions, and resource optimization.

3. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings.

- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and address any audit findings.

4. Risk Management and Internal Controls:

- Identify financial risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

- Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial data.

- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product development, and operations to support strategic initiatives and drive business growth.

- Provide financial insights and guidance to support key decision-making processes across the organization.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to departmental leaders, offering financial expertise and recommendations to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support, preferably within the SaaS industry.

- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
