Business Analytics Lead - well funded D2C

A leading and well funded D2C start up in the B2C space is looking for an Analytics Leader to support Customer acquisition, Retention and Category Design teams.

The person will report into the Chief Growth Officer.

Responsibilities :

As a Business Analytics Lead, you are expected to have a good macro view of the business and provide insights, hypotheses and recommendations to accelerate business.

- You will enable senior leadership decisions by streamlining measurement of KPIs

- You will identify key drivers of growth through causal analyses and share recommendations

- You are responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics and business trends

- You lead, manage and develop junior Analysts

- You execute deep & complex quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights

Qualifications and experience:

- Bachelors in Engineering, CS, Math, Statistics or MBA from a Tier 1 or 2 institute

- 6+ years of experience in relevant role and 2 years or more in a Lead Analytics role

- Ability to prioritize and manage expectations in a multitasking project environment

- Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis

- Previous experience in managing & mentoring analysts is preferred

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong background in statistical modelling and experience with statistical tools such R, Python

- Proficient in SQL, Excel Power user, Python

- Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI etc)

- Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills

- Strong organizational, communication, presentation and project management skills
