Job Title: Pipeline Design &amp; Development Planning Lead Experience : 8 to 16 years Locations : Bengaluru/Bangalore POSITION PURPOSE: - Drive global planning and Regional breeding teams to align on global/regional metrics and to ensure implementation of new tools/technologies for improved efficiency in order deliver the product and pipelines for APAC markets across all five crops viz., Corn, Rice, Cotton, Pearl Millet and Mustard portfolio valued at $300M. - Develop and implement specific seed operations solutions through the use of analytical tools in order to drive problem resolution and process efficiencies. Develop and implement medium and long term plans on process efficiencies and effectiveness We are looking for: - Experience in managing the breeding pipelines, may be a senior breeder level - Very good at pipeline planning - Experience in managing diverse group of people - Having knowledge of breeding IT applications is desired - Good at internal and external collaborations YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Enhances collaborative efforts with global planning and Regional breeding teams to align on global/regional metrics and to ensure implementation of new tools/technologies for improved efficiency - Directs and manage planning processes to optimize performance by cycle time, and ensuring pipeline targets are met - Directs and manage product delivery performance to ensure materials are available to field testing timelines and targets, while optimizing cost to serve - Directs and manage tactical pipeline planners to ensure that all virtual operations done on-time working in alignment with different stakeholders - Collaborates with Precision Genomics labs on regular basis to align on timelines and capacity planning for both GBS and TQM samples - Leads key projects implementation including Velocity and other technical innovations in the Seed Operations across pipelines in APAC - Collaborates with APAC regulatory and T/C teams to reduce logistical delays and increase shipping efficiencies by 25% YoY for cross country seed movement - Provide effective pipeline planning leadership including: individual goal setting/performance reviews, managing the development and recognition of employees, selecting personnel, supporting workforce diversity, quality and safety. - Develops employees to enable a continued focused on cultural transformation, talent development, news skills, and succession strength of an evolving workforce WHO YOU ARE: - MS required in Sciences, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, etc., - 8+ years of total experience, including a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more Product Supply disciplines as well as in a leadership or supervisory role - Ability to influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance - Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization - Ability to lead projects of high complexity with limited to no direction - Demonstrated advanced problem-solving abilities - Strong attention to detail - Expert in Crop Science planning and logistics relevant software and analytical applications
