Job Title : Audit Lead - Financial Markets/Treasury

Sub Function : Commercial & Wholesale Banking - Group Functions
Location : Mumbai - BKC
Educational Qualifications :
- CA/MBA/Master's in Finance from premier institute.
- Additional Qualification such as FRM, CFA would be preferred.
Job Description :
- Develop risk-based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities
- Design internal audit procedures and work programs
- Conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures
- Identify key areas of risk within the bank's Group Functions and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks
- Align Audit Process and Programme to ever changing risk landscape of the bank and be flexible to change the audit processes / programmes as per the needs of the organisation / regulatory landscape.
- The incumbent will have a reporting line to the Audit Vertical Head and will be a senior member of the audit team in the overall hierarchical chain within the bank.
Functional Expertise :
- The Candidate should have functional expertise (direct / indirect exposure) in managing the functional / business audit areas related to Audits in Wholesale Banking in Financial Markets, Risk Management, Operational Functions etc. with core knowledge on the following :
Treasury/ Financial Markets :
- Trading Desk Review including Supervisory Controls, Interbank Deal and Margin Review, Sales to Interbank Position Cover, BSMG (including CRR, Borrowing / Lending, NOSTRO Management, Repo/ LAF / Market Mechanism), Trader Folder Governance, Derivative Trading including Delta Trading, Customer Suitability, Card Rate Management (including Rate Appropriateness) etc.
- Back Office Management including Transaction Authorisation, CP Confirmations, Corporate Actions, Limit Checking and FO intimation, Transaction Settlement, Accounting (including Trade Date / Settlement Date), P&L Passed / Recovered from Customers, DP & SGL Management, Reconciliations etc.
- Middle Office Management including HTM Limit Management, Rate Scan, Regulatory PV01 Limit, NOOP, Day Light Limit, CEM & PFE, RAS / LAF Limits, AGL, Credit Rating Process for Bonds & DCM / Syndication, Stop Loss etc.
