Lead - Analytics

About L&T :

- L&T is a new digital B2B SME E-commerce initiative of Larsen & Toubro, which will leverage L&T's deep knowledge and capabilities in Procurement (through its huge volume of annual procurement) and Logistics, Financing, and IT solutions in India. This platform is essentially a digital marketplace for SME buyers and sellers (mainly focused on construction and industrial products & services) to connect in an efficient manner, thereby enabling sellers to expand their sales reach, and for buyers to find required products and services at optimal cost and quality.

- L&T-SuFin is building a world class team to service this business space in Ecommerce transactions, logistics for such transactions and finance for the SMEs

Desired Profile :

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in data science/ data analytics or basic degree for a Tier1 Institute in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics with exposure to data analytics.

- Experience : At least 6 years post qualification experience

- Stable career record.

- Preferred- Candidate who have worked with E -Commerce or allied analytic fields

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop strategies to track the Key Performance Indices for Business through dashboards

- Generate valuable business insights based on the platform data and be instrumental in creating marketing and operational efficiencies for scaling up business

- Develop performance score cards using statistical tools to predict behavioral outcomes on the platform.

- Collaborate with business, product, technology and operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, & recommend system modifications.

- Select, configure and implement analytics solutions.

- Define appropriate analytics models in addition to identifying and readying relevant data sources for analysis

- Gradually lead and develop a team of data analysts & data scientists as per the Organization's need.

- Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.

- Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g. Business, operations, IT, customer feedback)

- Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.

- Use AI/ ML to generate business insights and and improve operational efficiencies.

- Keep abreast of industry news and trends.

Key Competencies :

- Good communication skills

- Knowledge of Excel, Python, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, SAS, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc.)

- Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities

- Attention to detail.

- Problem-solving aptitude.
