Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst/Associate Director - Fundamental Equities - Healthcare

A global financial research firm committed to delivering insightful investment strategies. With a strong presence in London and New York, their India-based Financial Research group plays a pivotal role in driving excellence in Fundamental Equities.

Seeking a talented individual to join them at one of their offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram.

Responsibilities:

As a key contributor, your responsibilities will include:

- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust financial models.

- Valuation Analysis: Conduct thorough valuation-related analyses, benchmarking against peer groups, and performing sensitivity and scenario analyses.

- Sector Research: Dive into in-depth research on the healthcare sector, covering various sub-sectors.

- Investment Presentation: Prepare and present investment ideas to front office groups.

- Collaboration: Work closely with front-office teams to refine financial models and enhance investment strategies.

- Engagement: Attend calls with management, sell-side, intermediaries, and sector experts to stay abreast of industry developments.

Qualifications-

We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

- Education: Degree in finance or equivalent (MBA/CFA/CA).

- Experience: Over 5 years of investment research experience, with a preference for those with healthcare sector expertise covering international markets.

- Skills: Exceptional equity research and valuation skills.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Tools: Proficiency in Bloomberg Query Language/Bquant and VisibleAlpha script is preferred.
