Job Summary :

- The position available is as a Lead Analyst in the Mid Caps sector within the India Equity Research team, based in Mumbai.

- The selected candidate will be a lead coverage analyst with a focus on the companies and sector trends in the Mid Caps industry.

Responsibilities :

- The Lead Analyst will have primary responsibility of a group of stocks in the Mid Cap sector

- Responsibilities include : building financial models, writing research reports, communicating our team's ideas to institutional investors, conducting due diligence

- Our Client focuses on delivering high quality investment insights to investors on a global basis with a high emphasis on independence and objectivity in its products and insights

- The team produces regular written research, hosts investor meetings with company management teams, holds conference calls with industry consultants and regularly communicates with clients (both internal and external)

- Modeling : Maintaining & updating existing company models; creating new models; maintaining relative value sheets

- Research : Assist with the publication of earnings previews/recaps, initiation reports, deep dive notes as well other group products

- Communication : Assist with client inquiries and requests (internal and external)

- Events : Assist with coordination of investor meetings (management meeting & field trips) and conference calls with consultants

Education :

- CA or MBA

- A CFA -would be an advantage.

Experience : 7 years + experience in equity research

Skills :

- Strong modeling and database skills are essential

- Demonstrated ability to write high quality, evidence-based projects or reports
