You are a seasoned ML / NLP Data Scientist who's itching to solve large and real-world business problems by applying AI, ML and NLP techniques on a variety of structured Enterprise data and some unstructured texts. You- ll work alongside a stellar team of engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and product managers to build really cool I.P. using open-source technologies. You will assemble a team of AI pros, and be called on to present to customers and investors. Job Description : - Build a big data system based on product requirements. - Ability to design this system to suit solution needs. This will involve data extraction, data modeling, transformation, integration with other data streaming solutions. - Should have hands on knowledge on building REST/Webservices for external applications to consume this data. - Experience in data migration from older systems of varied types to big data architecture. - Help the team to Improve system performance by optimizing data model for real time and batch process queries. - Define, design and implement security and backup process in the big data solution - Coordinate with other teams to identify future needs and requirements - Planning system &amp; storage requirements for the big data platform Required Skills : Mandatory skills : - Deep knowledge on Apache Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, MLib, TensorFlow GraphX on enterprise projects - Should have worked on Cassandra; additional exposure on other NOSQL databases would be an added advantage. - Python programming and integration with Spark including SparkML - General understanding of operating system, e.g. Windows and Linux - Understanding of how to size a Cassandra or equivalent NOSQL database Qualification : - B.S. in Computer Science, from a Top-Tier University (e.g., IIT, NIT, etc..) - Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, with NLP specialization - 3-5+ years of work as a Data Scientist working with various ML techniques like Classifications, Regressions, Clustering, knowledge graphs, and recommender systems and or NLP products involving knowledge extraction, knowledge graphs, and recommender systems - Hands-on experience with tokenizers, normalizers, stemming, lemmas, entity extractions, POS tagging, synonyms and quasi-synonyms, search, and general classifier models - mid to advanced NLP techniques over documents, emails - Proficiency in a Python dev environment, experience with SQL &amp; relational databases - Knowledge of any of these packages will be highly preferred; Stanford NL API package, Google Cloud Natural Language API, Spark ML models - Strong written and verbal communication skills - You have a creative mind and a keen ability and initiative to think - beyond - You love a startup mindset and want to own your domain within a flat, friendly and flexible org culture Notice Period : Immediate to 60 days Only This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this position.
