World Service organization is the single largest unit of American Express addressing the servicing needs of all American Express clients and customers globally across multiple locations and channels.   World Service Analytics team is responsible for Executive decision support through advanced analytics, helping the organization to exploit our competitive advantage and capitalize on the unique asset of Relationship Care® to drive customer engagement to deepen loyalty with our customers and drive brand advocacy.   Team has a global footprint and this position will be based out of the American Express Service Center in Gurgaon, India.   Responsibilities of this role include:  - Lead & strengthen team of Analysts by providing effective support, performance Management; timely Coaching & feedback and helping them acquire new talent, knowledge & skills.   - Providing Analytical & Decision Support across World Service through advanced Statistical techniques and Data mining (from sourcing to staging data and building analytics to implementation).   - Working independently assuming responsibility for the development, validation and implementation of Statistical projects   - Developing Global Analytical Capabilities by providing consistent delivery on Advanced Statistical capabilities using tools like SAS, SQL and Machine Learning   - Participate on global teams evaluating processes and making suggestions for process and system improvements along with employee development activities through knowledge and information sharing sessions with peers across the organization.   - Addressing information gaps by developing leading indicators and providing insightful analytics.   - Interacting with all levels of the organization across multiple time zones.   - Advanced Degree In Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research Or In A Related Quantitative Field   - A Strong Background And Interest In Quantitative Business Analysis And Statistical Modeling Techniques With Experience In Handling Large Data Sets   - Proficiency In Advanced Statistical Techniques Like Multivariate Analysis, Predictive Modeling, Decision Tree Analysis, Experimental Design, Applied Clustering Techniques, And Knowledge Of Linear Programming/Operations Research   - Strong Business Acumen And Problem Solving Skills   - Advanced SAS and SQL Programming Skills   - Strong Project Management Skills, Ability To Work On Multiple Projects, And Work Effectively In A Team Environment   - Excellent Written And Oral Communication Skills   - Conceptual And Creative Thinker
