Education: BE/B Tech - Any full time Graduation

Experience: 10-16 Years

Candidate Requirement Experience Summary:

- 10-16 years of experience

- L2 - forwarding, protocols (3-4) - Architect level expertise, hands-on system and network knowledge

- L3 - Routing - IGP and EGP protocols (1 in each) - Architect level expertise, hands-on - network functioning, deployment skills

- OS - Linux - Mandatory - Kernel programming, Networking internals

- Language - Expert proficiency in one language (C/C++), Programming concepts

- Data structures & Algorithms

- System appreciation - Architecture, design, coding best practices, Performance, scale, HA - hands on expertise. Have worked on 2 yrs in full-fledged system appreciation role

Others:

- Able to influence customer - Technical know-how, fast rampup, analogy building, Influencing and communication skills

Skill Area - Domain / Standards:

- Layer 2 protocols - not limited to VLAN, STP, RSPT/MSTP, Bridging/Switching, Virtual Switching, Link layer methodologies

- Layer 3 protocols - IGP & EGP suite of protocols, IPv6 technologies, Customer specific technologies (Cisco, Juniper etc.) are preferred

- SDN, Network Virtualization, Control and data plane architecture & development

- Transport Protocols

- IPv4/IPv6, IP Sec

- Design Methodologies

- OOD / UML

- Tools

- Traffic simulators, NM tools

- Scripting

- Perl or Shell scripting
