Lava International is seeking a creative & enthusiastic data scientist to join the product team in Noida (Head Quarters). You will be involved in analyzing data, identify patterns using advanced data mining algorithms and generate insights for business decision.   Further, you will be defining and managing customer level static and derived attributes, their life-cycle, and develop modelling logics spanning across demographics, location intelligence, behavior, product affinity etc.   This position demands high level of responsibility in logical & analytical thinking, taking quick decisions, & execution of KPI led campaigns & its end to end management. Having worked closely with business development, technical teams would be an added advantage  Key Responsibilities  1.Play a critical role in designing, developing and implementing analytical techniques on large, complex, structured and unstructured data sets to help running better campaigns  2.Develop and improve Ad-Targeting data model based on various criteria like user demographics, location, interests and many more  3.Building ML/predictive framework to draw insights at scale for different aspects of business, for example understanding drivers of various customer behavior or understanding points of failure  4.Develop and implement advanced analytics approaches including statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, text mining, etc. to answer business questions & drive actionable insights  5.Uses a variety of datasets to test hypotheses, discover hidden relationships and provide actionable insights   6.Structure, plan & execute campaigns to maximize revenue per user basis KPIs set by content partner  7.Generate daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking  8.Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance to internal revenue goals  Desired Skills and Competencies  - Experience of handling various data types and structures: structured and unstructured data, extensive prior experience in integrating data, profiling, validating  - Deep understanding & familiarity with Predictive modeling concepts, Recommendation & optimizing algorithms, clustering & classification techniques  - High level of proficiency in statistical tools, relational databases & expertise in programming languages like Python/SQL is desired  - Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  - Masters- degree in operations research, applied statistics, data mining, machine learning & related quantitative discipline (Preferably M.Sc /M. Tech. in Statistics/Mathematics) OR MBA from Tier 1 with relevant experience & expertise  - Candidates from reputable institutions like IIMs, IITs, IISc, or equivalent  - Relevant Experience of 2-3 years
