We are looking for an expert in compensation & benefits who- ll be a part of the strategic function: HR planning team.  Job Purpose:  Create a strategy for recruitment in LAVA & lead execution via robust processes backed by efficient structures & capable people.  Key Responsibilities:  1. Engage with members of compensation committee to develop & formalize the compensation philosophy for one/multiple lines/geographies of business in LAVA.  2. Partner directors, top management & CHRO in building long term strategic compensation plans. Manage ESOPs & support M&A whenever needed.  3. Enable the development of - human supply chain- with close involvement in defining compensation for various jobs/people thereby revisiting the current band structure.  4. Design & execute special incentive programs (e.g. variable pay, retention schemes for top talent) to complement strategic interest of the organization.  5. Revisit benefits by considering current employee life-stage & future workforce strategy. Structure & lead - employee care- initiative in LAVA.  6. Support C&B activities such as annual increments, market benchmarking, timely closure of benefits, support during recruitment offers etc.  7. Support 100% compliance with various national/state/local regulations w.r.t. compensation.  8. Employ HR analytics to help close monitoring & reporting of compensation across business lines. Further, support top management with proactive/reactive decision making basis compensation analysis.   9. Support development & implementation of right systems & processes to ensure transparency & right controls w.r.t. compensation.  10. Ensure transparent and thought through employee policies w.r.t. rewards & compensation.  Key Result areas:  1. Signoff compensation philosophy with clear direction for the short term (3-5 years)   2. Roll out ESOPs as per directions & support other strategic initiatives driven by the board w.r.t. compensation.  3. Revisit & signoff compensation within identified job bandings across the organization.  4. Execute special incentive programs (e.g. variable pay, retention schemes for top talent etc.)  5. Redefine and signoff the benefits & - employee care program-   6. Support C&B activities such as annual increments, market benchmarking, timely closure of benefits, support during recruitment offers, relevant compliances etc.  7. Deploy HR analytics to enable quicker decision & present relevant analysis to top management from time to time.  8. Ensure transparent and thought through employee policies w.r.t. rewards & compensation.  Skills & Knowledge:   1. An exposure of at-least 6 years in C&B.   2. Deep subject matter expertise in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: salary and incentive plan design, sales compensation, equity compensation, executive pay.  3. Very high credibility & integrity.  4. Experience of working in an entrepreneurial setup &/or exposure to manpower planning will be highly preferred.  5. Appreciates business issues & people while designing/executing compensation & benefits programs.  6. Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.  7. Exceptional quantitative and diagnostic problem solving skills.   8. Should be passionate to create something using the current skills/knowledge.
