Laterite - Research Analyst

Note: Although this position is based out of New Delhi, you will initially spend the first 2-3 months working from Laterite's office in Kigali, Rwanda.

Detailed responsibilities :

- Support all survey activities

- Design and pilot survey instruments

- Code surveys into ODK based platform

- Audit, clean, and analyze incoming data

- Client Management

- Manage critical client communications

- Oversee client benchmarks and timelines are being met

- Automate processes during downtime

- Write reports or support report writing with your analysis

Experience requirements :

Must haves :

- Strong statistical skills and knowledge of related tools/software (in particular Stata or R)

- Awareness of research methods and an analytical mindset

- Motivation and geographic flexibility

Preferred :

- Experience working on development projects, impact evaluations, or other research studies

- Experience working with at least one ODK-based platform (like SurveyCTO, ODK, CommCare, etc.)

- Strong oral and written communications skills

- Attention to detail

Nice to have :

- Experience with machine learning/fuzzy logic/advanced analytics

- International experience
