Senior Manager Utilities - Nagda -MP with Co gen/ Power Plant exp

Job Responsibilities :

- Responsible for operation of plants (Co-Gen, Stand-by Process and Oil Fired Boilers, STP, ETP, RO, Central Utilities, VAHP).

- To ensure uninterrupted supply of power, steam, water, air, nitrogen, brine, chilled water.

- Shut Down Planning of different plants.

- Co-ordination with Production, Tank Farm, Stores, Safety, Maintenance, etc.

- Trouble shooting in the processes.

- Co-ordination with project dept. for planning, conceptualization and execution of expansions and modifications in the said plants.

- Energy conservation and optimization of resources.

- Liaison and coordination with Director of Boiler office, Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board.

- Co-ordination with Grasim for supply of steam, water and electricity.

- Provide inputs for fuel procurement planning, storage, receipt and ascertain its testing and approval.

- Coordination for maintenance jobs, shutdown planning, breakdown maintenance, process and equipment reliability improvements etc.

- Training of staff and shop floor people for operations and safety.

- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

- Implementation of HSE practices in all areas of responsibility.

Key Accountabilities :

Strategic Planning :

- Formulating and implementing strategies for achieving annual business goals for the division & managing overall operations of the unit.

- Leading teams towards the achievement of organizational goals and industry best practices.

- Coordinating with various functions; ensuring optimum utilization of the resources and implementing & maintaining the Quality Systems.

- Identifying training needs of sub-ordinates and imparting training to them.

Utility Operations and co-ordination :

- Managing over operations involved in Utilities and Ensure the uninterrupted supply of utilities to the production plants. Planning including coordinating in Production for preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, manpower management, supplies management and up-time of equipment's.

- Ensuring effective utilization of resources like men and machine to achieve organizational targets as per Standard Operation Practices.

-Statutory compliance related to effluents, emission levels.

- Energy conversations projects to identify and implement.

- Liaison and coordination with Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board.

EHS Management / Process Improvement

- Formulating Safety Plans creating awareness and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for ensuring Environment, Health & Safety.

- Identifying critical parameters and processes which are hazardous in nature & undertaking steps for curtailing plant upsets, fluctuations, emergencies and associated risks.

- Process improvements in a timely and cost effective manner
