AGM - Head of Production & Utilities - Nagda MP

Job Responsibilities :

- To achieve and exceed budgeted volumes, quality and cost effectiveness targets.

- Optimise/maximise utilization of plants and utilities.

- Coordinate production and S/D Maintenance planning in line with the sales plan.

- To ensure regulatory compliance, a safe work place, clean environment and health and safety of all personnel through allocation of suitable resources, cooperation and coordination with site HSE department and through modelling of company visions, values and beliefs within the area.

- Drive continuous improvement of the production process and the organization while balancing the resources between improvement efforts and sustaining reliable operations.

- To ensure co-ordination between departments at site and with the marketing organization.

- To give training to subordinates and ensure their skill and capability building (Technical, operational, behavioral) and overall personnel development.

- Lead, promote and develop personnel and manage succession planning to maintain an adequate skill-set for successful operations.

- Process owner for production, QA/QC and tank farm for the ERP.

- Responsible for implementation of ISO 9000, 14000 and 18000 within the production and utility areas.

- Communication and reporting to Germany (Mfg. Head AII and Team) for improvements in the production processes and techniques at Nagda.

- Develop strategies to accompany future growths of the current business and evaluate options for the potential production of downstream products in collaboration with external agencies and / or institute.

Other requisites :

- M.Sc. (Chemistry) or M. Tech with almost 18 years of experience Or B.E. (Chemical) with 20 years of experience.

- Formulate long and short term goals for the organization specific to his area of operations.

- Interpret and control complex manufacturing processes

- Strong communication skills

- Motivate employees

- Sound reading, writing, verbal and presentation

- Sound knowledge of general process technology and chemistry.
