Job Title : IT Manager- SAP APO

Location : Bangalore, India

Main Accountability :

IT Manager- SAP APO is expected to carry out the role for all APO functions - Demand Planning (DP), Supplier Network Planning (SNP). Candidate is also expected to have good appreciation of APO integration with other SAP functions viz O2C and supply chain

IT Manager- SAP APO has an active role in all projects / changes landing in landscape, tightly coupling with the AD PMs, global SMEs in Finance area, he/she is directly responsible for the design and implementation of the projects / changes regarding own area for the landscape.

Essential skills & Relevant Experience :

- Business process knowledge in critical APO areas - DP& SNC

- Overall 10+ years experience across industry

- Total APO experience of 10-12 years

- 3-4 E2E APO implementations experience along with integration components like ECC

- Must have worked on creating the forecasting and supply process in implementing projects from scratch

- In-depth understanding of forecasting models and alpha, beta, gamma factors and their impact on forecast planning process

- Team lead with managing team of 10+ people

DP - Must Have :

- Knowledge of Demand Planning administration and configuration settings - creation of info-cubes, info-objects, transfer and communication rules and knowledge of data flow design between them

- In-depth understanding of forecasting models and alpha, beta, gamma factors and their impact on forecast planning process

- Knowledge of realignment functionality

- Leading the integration of DP with the connected business processes- sales, manufacturing, logistics and procurement

- Exposure to Sales and Operations Planning within a manufacturing environment

- In Depth understanding of DP master data - CVCs, Product Hierarchy, Location/Customer Hierarchy

Supply Network Planning - Must Have :

- First hand knowledge and implementation exposure on most of these functionalities: a) Master Data - Locations / Products / Tlanes b) Different SNP strategies - Heuristic / CTM / Optimizer c) Capacity Leveling d) Deployment e) TLB.

- Deep knowledge of differences between Optimiser and Heuristics engines, and appreciation of scenarios where they can be used.

- Good understanding of Integration between ECC andAPO - Core Interface and other configurations

- Knowledge of Inventory process - Day's Supply, Inventory building strategies, demand cover.

- Knowledge of Factory/Planning/Shipping Calendars and their integration with ECC

- Knowledge of SNP integration with PPDS Dashboard
