Overview:
As a Business & Trade Analyst at Splash eCommerce, you'll be pivotal in managing our business's top-line across 6 GCC countries. You will be the analytical mind of the team. Your role involves daily budget tracking, KPI monitoring, cross-functional collaboration, and executing projects to enhance trade operations. Additionally, you'll stay updated on regional competitors and global business trends, fostering continuous improvement and innovation within our platform.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement data-driven e-commerce strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies for continual enhancement.
- Support the e-commerce strategy & governance department in analyzing strategic plans for the Splash eCommerce brand.
2. Financial Performance:
- Ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability targets within budget constraints.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscapes to uncover growth opportunities.
- Manage budgets effectively, forecasting revenue and margins accurately.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to curate products and implement effective promotional strategies.
- Work closely with Inventory, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to improve the platform experience.
- Partner with the Centrepoint category team for analysis and informed decision-making regarding Splash products.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to gather insights and track essential metrics such as conversion rates and average order value.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into e-commerce performance.
- Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily budget phasing and tracking KPIs for Splash eCommerce.
- Review processes and enhance reporting tools to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Execute various projects to enhance trade operations.
- Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
- MBA/B.Tech from top tier 1 or 2 B-schools/College.
- Proven experience in e-commerce analysis, category, financial analyst, trade operations, or data scientist related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Knowledgeable about e-commerce platforms and market trends.
- Experience in managing budgets, financial performance, and data science.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
