Landmark Group - Data Engineer

Job Description :

- Strong hands on experience on programming languages (SAS, R, Python, SQL, etc.) used in analytics

- Expert knowledge of SAS products/architecture

- Proficient in implementing Analytic approaches and Statistical algorithms on large size data

- Proficient in Data management concepts, Data analysis & Data mining techniques

- Experience working with datasets of different sizes and shapes, including experience to explore, query, process, summarize large size data

- Experience with Visualization tools (ex. Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI)

- Experience working on Unix operating systems

- Strong problem solving, design and architecture skills

- Exposure to Hadoop technologies like HDFS, Map-Reduce, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie will be preferred

- Ability to predict future enhancements necessary based on the usage pattern

- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

- Passion for technology and willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies - Ability to effectively organize & execute demanding workload

- Knowledge of retail industry and its BI and analytics needs
