SUMMARY:
Be a key stakeholder in shaping the respective category to achieve budgets (sales, margin and sell through) by procuring the right product and ensuring availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Planning:
- Ensure right product mix available at required depth on site for certain categories.
- OTB finalization with E-Commerce planning team to ensure right mix availability.
- Product selection from Season Range presentation.
- Co-ordinate with Planning team to ensure allocation as per buy & OTB.
- Defining and maintaining product lifecycle.
Market Focus:
- Understand the online customer aspirations and needs to plan online exclusive ranges.
- Analyse the trends prevailing in the online business and incorporate the same. Strengthen categories based on understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Competition tracking on a regular basis to identify white spaces and key category bets for online exclusives.
Product Delivery:
- Coordinate with Quality team and other departments for timely merchandise delivery as per the buys.
- Co-ordinate with the offline team for development of online exclusive ranges.
- Adhere to the Online Launch calendar.
Content Management:
- Work on the digital calendar to ensure all website content is in line with requirement and manage the internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to online calendar.
- Work with the marketing and creative team to close on the GTM for D2C and marketplaces.
Product Performance and Presentation:
- Analyse Season sell through and work on buying efficiency. Identify top sellers for replenishment.
- Provide inputs for initiating in season discount on slow moving products.
- Create category roadmap to ensure monthly sales & target achievement.
- Brief the digital marketing team on season's Highlights.
- Analyse clicks, views, consideration and conversion and devise strategies to improve these matrices.
