Category Management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work along with Planning and Category teams to develop the ideal assortment plan for channels and provide product level inputs
- Provide inputs with respect to category expansion and White Space Category products to the teams to enhance product portfolio
- Analyse and determine current trends, strategic product pricing and implement the best practices within each category
- Work along with Category and Planning Lead along with Marketing team to ensure GTM calendar development in line with product bets and Category revenue plan
- Ensure Revenue achievement in line with Category and Dept Mix plan. Highlight and plan for corrective action in case of any deviation
- Ensure execution of Platform level plans and Product strategies in line with GTM calendar
- Ensure the right Product mix is available in Digital Business as per customer demand. Work along with channel leads to forecast Sales numbers at a style level and finalize buys.
- Work along with Planning team to put a forecasting and replenishment system in place
- Monitor and Review Category level performance weekly and Product level performance monthly
- Monitor style level and product level performance and share insights with the teams to ensure right selection and merchandise availability and representation for the business
- Ensure operations teams is taking products live on platform as per plan. Keep a close track of go live dates and highlight delays if any
