Job Description: Business Development Manager, Homecentre

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define a strategic roadmap for building and growing the seller network
- Identify and categorize potential sellers based on the platform fit of their assortment in terms of category, price points and quality of products
- Identify seller-wise opportunities, evaluate their business feasibility and devise a go-to-market approach for each opportunity
- Reach out to potential sellers, negotiate commercials and enable onboarding of vendors onto the platform
- End-to-end ownership of all marketplace processes and operations, to ensure a best-in-class experience for sellers at every stage of the partnership
- Evaluate the performance of channel by seller, by identifying opportunities to enhance metrics as well as correcting areas of under or non-performance with well-defined action plans
- Collaborate with a diverse set of teams, including platform merchandizing, supply chain, technology, finance, and marketing among others to ensure a seamless business operations
- Deliver on monthly and annual channel targets including GMV, NPS and Profitability, by achieving required seller network growth and optimizing operating costs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in any field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in a marketplace setup with functional experience in business development or vendor & category management; experience in GCC market or Home category is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills, with prior experience in scaling seller networks for a marketplace platform
- Proven experience in creating business plans & forecasts, budgeting for plans and delivering on sales/business development targets
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus
- Mobility ; Regular Intra-country and sporadic inter-country travel is expected
- High entrepreneurial drive, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
