Manager- Finance & Accounts

Job description :

The position will be responsible for directing the finance function for the company, in accordance with accepted accounting principles and keeping in line with the goals and objectives of the organization. This is positioned as a key strategy and cross-functional impacting resource for the organization.

Responsibilities:

1.Monthly closing of general ledger, ensure timely and accurately preparing internal financial and corporate reporting.

2.Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure that all accounting and statutory requirements are met

3.Ensure Compliance with statutes like GST and other Indirect Taxes, Income Tax, Local Body Tax etc

4.Ensure appropriate application of cost accounting/management for effective decision making and service costing

5.Provide strategic leadership to the overall finance function at the company ensuring that the function is properly organized, teamed, developed, motivated, and compensated.

6.Develop financial plans along with various business and technology teams, with rigor on Bottom's up approach

7.Accurate plan with consistent and adequate how lists

8.Continuous tracking of key financials and business metrics

9.Participate & Drive standardization & automation projects for process efficiency

10.Prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews/presentations with key highlights

11.Review the plans vs actuals on a regular basis

12.Scenario analysis and develop business plans on product enhancement or business initiatives

13.Advise internal stakeholders on tax-related issues (both direct and indirect)

14.MIS Reporting

15.Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills, issue identification/prioritization/ resolution and report writing skills.

16.Ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads and manage individual/team budgets

17.Strong written and spoken English language skills and should have strong soft skills i.e interpersonal skills, team skills, communication skills

18.Identify new tax requirements and provide input on significant law changes that can have a broader impact

19.Develop, document and educate internal and external stakeholders on tax-related requirements, policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant with minimum experience of above 2 years.

Final Salary offer will depend on the current salary and the value that candidate brings to the table. For the right candidate, salary will not be a concern.
