Financial Controller - Kuhoo Edu Fintech ( Education Loan Financing)

This role is based at BKC, Mumbai in a work from office mode.

Kuhoo is a tech - enabled loan platform specifically designed to address the financial needs of students who aspire to dream big!

An ideal fit candidate will be CA having experience working with NBFC and proficient in accounting, taxation and audit.

What will you do?

- Be a part of the team, handling the controllership function

- Set up the accounting and finance operations equipped to handle growth at a blazing pace

- Work with state of the art tech driven accounting, expense management and accounts payable / receivable platform

- Play a key role in implementation of loan management systems and be the system owner from finance team

- Prepare and publish the monthly / quarterly and annual financial statements on standalone and consolidated basis to the Leadership / Investors

- Handle all compliances such as GST, Income tax, TDS etc.

- Handle returns submission to the regulators such as RBI

- Develop and document agile processes and SOPs

- Liaison with Internal and Statutory Auditors

- Coordinate and negotiate with vendors

- Play a key role in M&A transactions due diligence and execution including Post Merger Integration

- Handle multiple cross functional projects

- Develop and mentor a high calibre and action oriented team

Qualification and Experience :

- Chartered Accountant with post qualification work experience of 4 to 8 years

- Proven experience as a Finance Manager/ Controller in a NBFC, mid-size bank, fintech

Skills :

- Leadership skills along with willingness to execute hands on

- An entrepreneurial individual with commercial growth mindset

- Good command over accounting and taxation

- Ability to develop and implement systems, tools and processes

- Committed team player who derives energy from being surrounded by a group of dedicated and collaborative people

- Good commercial acumen and support in relation to negotiating contracts
