Vertical Head Team (ZV-K) has been set up to support and enhance the business to their respective vertical .Also they are the key support for their counterparts in overseas to play - push & pull- strategy .  Three key teams with their market knowledge and expertise have the responsibility to:  - Be the main drivers in India for executing the vertical activities in coordination with the local Sales Managers & RDM (Route Development Managers) through a complete alignment;  - Be the main coordinators with the overseas network through push/pull activities.  - Focus on New gained business in their respective verticals & implement the process with the support of operations   ZV-K RESPONSIBILITIES:  1. Build a strong market platform with accurate opportunities  a. Ensure India market platform is identified and maintained  - new potential clients  - new opportunities from existing clients  - review - lost- and - sleeping- accounts  - identification of potential clients based on specific campaigns given by the sales management.  b. Follow-up Sales Leads sent and received by/to local sales teams  c. Distribution of vital marketing information in order to build and share market intelligence of the route  d. Combine and share market feedbacks (OMF: Online Market Feedback)  2. Sales development  a. Joint Country Development Program  - Closely work with overseas office, in order to streamline the global accounts smoothly   b. Customer Development  - Identification and development of a strategic target account list together with VM to be later assigned to VF  - India overall pipeline ownership  c. Airfreight Products   - KN Express, KN Expert, KN Extend  d. India Sales Trips  - Regular trips within the stations  e. CST Trips  - Co-ordination and delegation of responsibilities for both external and internal/KN visitors related to the respective trade lanes.  - Arrange personal CST trips to overseas;  f. Engagement with overseas  - Vendor's management functions when identified;  - Develop a push/pull (shipper / consignee relationship) model;  - Engage commitment from overseas partners to manage the Vertical via push/pull efforts;  g. Active face-to-face meetings with customers concentrating on new accounts (mid-size and high profile accounts)  3. Monitor:  a. Monthly Results Review  - Volume development against targets [BO (pp & cc) vs. Targets];  - Volume controlled in India [India Sales Development vs. Targets];  - Volumes for strategic accounts;  - Opportunity Gained ratio  b. Monthly market platform development  - Review of VLog pipelines;  - Pipeline Opportunities vs. Pipeline Targets;  - National Top 20 pipelines per business unit  c. Monthly Vertical Reporting  d. Regular conference calls with overseas counterparts  e. Regular review on the trade lane development with the operations trade lane manager  - Sporadically (if needed) act as an intermediate with KN overseas for issues related to services, rates and support.  f. Quarterly Development Review with Del NV  - Ranking on the route development for each sales teams;
