Kshema is India's digital Insurance company that caters predominantly to cultivators of the Agriculture & Food Sectors. Our mission is to enable resilience among cultivators across the country, from income shocks due to extreme climate events and other vagaries, with insurance.

I AGRI - our proprietary location-aware platform that assesses and prices risk adequately allows us to address pre-harvest risks at a farm level. Developed in partnership with leading global experts in Spatial data sciences, actuaries, financial engineers and remote sensing experts among others, the platform allows us the benefit of drawing evidence-based results to expand the scope of our services beyond traditional risk analyses.

Role Overview:

As a Backend Product Manager focused on Lead Generation and Lead Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of our backend systems to support effective lead generation initiatives and ensure seamless lead management processes. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance our backend infrastructure to maximize lead conversion and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:

- Implement lead generation, lead prioritization and cooldown logic for lead management system and work with sales team on improving conversion.

- Continuously optimize backend systems for scalability, performance, and data integrity to support a high volume of leads and conversions.

- Utilize data analysis and insights to identify opportunities, improve lead quality, and enhance the lead management process.

- Devise and execute strategies for backend systems that facilitate efficient lead generation, capture, and management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and designers to drive the development and implementation of backend features and systems.

- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market trends, user feedback, and business objectives.

- Conduct regular assessments of backend performance, scalability, and reliability, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.

- Evaluate and integrate new technologies or tools that enhance lead generation efficiency and support a robust lead management ecosystem.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

- 3 years of experience in product management, with a focus on backend systems and infrastructure.

- Strong technical background with knowledge of backend technologies, databases, APIs, and cloud services.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with project management tools.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
