The finance portfolio includes diverse set of sub functions - Finance and Accounts, Revenue Management and Legal. The challenge of the role is to act as a central function, yet to be relevant for each business, and drive synergies.

The company is a family run business, and growing very fast. Running on SAP S4Hana ERP. The candidate should be able to able handle the F&A department and draw growth stragegies for the overall development of the company.

The company also wishes to go for PE funding and subsequently into IPO. The candidiate must be well versed with the requiremnt of the same.

Controling the entire company thru SAP Controls would be a important requirement.

Key Areas of Responsability:

1 Facilitate development of strategy

- Provide strategic planning inputs to the Management Team on revenue targets, budgets and operating margin etc.

- Set-up processes /systems for monitoring progress on strategic goals

- Review finalization of channel / function wise budget; Oversee spends

- Define objectives and budgets for the finance team and track progress against the same

- Brainstorm with analysts, consultants etc. on business model; Propose modifications to business model and strategy basis industry benchmarks and best practices - Timely meeting of strategic goals

- Achievement of business objectives;

- Improvement in feedback from internal stake-holders

2 Financial Operations Management:

- Assess robustness of current systems, processes and policies across teams (Accounts, Finance, BD , FP&A etc.)

- Oversee large value negotiations on key projects / stakeholders and close them in favor of the organization

- Seek feedback from internal stakeholders on operations; Redefine and align processes to meet needs of stakeholders

- Provide directions and guidance for execution; Verify compliance to accounting norms and procedures with respect to compliance contracts, employee and vendor payments; Verify full compliance to laws

- Track implementation of processes in terms of fairness, consistency and cost-effectiveness across the network, tweak as required

- Drive timely reporting of business MIS/ any data on business request

3 Legal Operations Management:

- Assess robustness of current systems, processes and policy creation across teams (Legal, Compliance, Secretarial and Standards and Practices)

- Seek feedback from internal stakeholders on assistance with legal issues / contracts

- Track closure of activities by team and provide support as required; Lead key negations and keep business updated

4 Regulatory Compliances:

- Define internal norms and guidelines with regards to compliance

- Monitor the compliance, audits and manage regulatory risks for the company

- Track performance against compliance and ensure closure of non-compliances

- Revise policies to ensure compliance with changing laws in all jurisdictions where the company operates

5 Managing Team Performance:

- Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required to ensure achievement of yearly plans

- Manage effective resource allocation across different teams, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement through appropriate HR interventions
